These terms apply to gMCP, the software itself. By downloading, installing, or running gMCP, you agree to them.
What gMCP is
gMCP is self-hosted software that you download and run on your own infrastructure, whether that’s your own desktop machine or a server you control. It is provided free of charge. Running gMCP does not create an account with me, a subscription, or any ongoing relationship between us beyond your use of the software.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you install, configure, and secure your own installation of gMCP, including keeping it updated.
You are responsible for your own use of the Google APIs that gMCP connects to, and for complying with Google’s own terms of service and API terms for each service you connect. gMCP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
You are responsible for how you use any data or insights gMCP surfaces, and for any actions you confirm through it, such as changes made in Google Tag Manager.
No warranty
gMCP is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I don’t guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. You use it entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of gMCP, including but not limited to data loss, unauthorised access to your accounts, or any actions taken through it, whether by you, your team, or anyone else with access to your installation.
Changes to the software
I may update, change, or discontinue gMCP, or any part of it, at any time, without notice. Since it’s self-hosted, any version you’ve already downloaded will keep running as it is unless you choose to update it.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this same URL.
